Hemmi was the largest manufacturer of slide rules, and had sold about 15 million slide rules.



The popular model 259D (24 scales) is made with laminated bamboo.



The Frederick Post Co. in the USA sold Hemmi's rules with their brand "Post"
with the label "Made in Occupied Japan" after the Wolrd War II for many years.
